Learn how to build enterprise mobile applications for iPhone an Android by attending our webinar on Tuesday, Jun 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM PDT
Exadel Flamingo, an open source Java EE development framework, enables the “mobilization” of existing e-commerce applications by seamlessly encapsulating existing server-side functionality to be used by mobile devices. Flamingo establishes a lightweight abstract layer between the server and the mobile client to preserve and reuse existing server-side components and services.
In this webinar, we will show an example of integrating the Android platform with ofbiz, a popular open source e-commerce platform, using Flamingo.

I’ve seen on the registration site that the system requirements are MacOSX or Windows. Do you know if it’s also possible with Linux (Ubuntu)?
@Hugo: in case you are unable to attend a recording will be made available after the webinar
@davide: yes, unfortunately GoToWebinar only works on Windows or Mac right now. I’m running Linux myself so I usually remotely login to a Windows machine and watch the webinar that way.
I have no win or mac available. I think I will wait for the recording. Will it be available in a usable format? π
Thanks
Bye
@davide: I hope it will be in format that can be played on any OS.
Was a recording made? i cant seem to find it.
Cheers π
@Harpritt: unfortunately a recording is not available. Something went wrong and the whole thing wasn’t’ recorded. Email me at max at exadel dot com if you have any questions on the subject.
